Apart from the protection of privacy by screening off unwanted stares, the single-layer safety glass also protects from UV radiation, thus reducing the heat build-up in the vehicle interior on sunny days.

Features
Dark-grey tinted windows extending from the B-pillar: privacy glazing is available as single-layer safety glass and/or as laminated safety glass.

• For the single-layer safety glass version, dark-tinted privacy glass is used in the vehicle glazing production.
• For the laminated safety glass version, an additional light-stable tinted sheet is laminated between the two sheets of glass that lie on top of each other Laminated safety glass version not only offers the advantages of privacy glazing but of double glazing too.
