You can use the MMI to operate a wide range of media in the car, the navigation system and other comfort and convenience functions.

Operating the MMI has always been straightforward – and it is now even easier. A reduced number of keys makes it even clearer. The control buttons for radio and media are positioned logically next to the volume control. The six other hardkeys, for example for the phone and navigation, are on the central rotary pushbutton, for intuitive operation. Also new: the carousel-style representation in the MMI display. It gives you an even clearer view and makes getting to your destination even simpler. The high-resolution 8-inch colour display in piano finish can be folded away into the dashboard when not in use.

The completely new tiptronictiptronicGearshifts with the minimum interruption in power flow – the six-speed tiptronic transmission unites automatic shifting comfort and outstanding driveability.tiptronic selector lever shaped like a yacht lever is even more ergonomic. As well as its use for changing gear, it doubles up as an ergonomic hand rest when operating the MMI, which is therefore even more convenient and distraction-free to use.
