Michael Dick is Member of the Board of Management of AUDI AG with responsibility for Technical Development.

Michael Dick was born on 5 January, 1952.

He began to study Mechanical Engineering in 1973 at the Munich University of Applied Sciences.

His professional career commenced at AUDI AG in 1977, initially in the Quality Assurance area, where he assumed responsibility for various task areas with the emphasis on Quality Planning.

From 1988 on he was a Main Group Leader in the Quality Improvement area, and, in 1993, he became Manager of Quality Improvement, Vehicles and Systems.

Michael Dick worked for Volkswagen AG from 1995 onwards as a Divisional Head in Central Quality Assurance, taking up the same position two years later with responsibility for the total overall passenger car development.

Michael Dick returned to AUDI AG in 2003 and has since been Head of the Overall Vehicle/Chassis, Pre-Production Centre and Project Steering business area.

Michael Dick took over responsibility for Technical Development on the AUDI AG Board of Management with effect from 12 January, 2007.
